Abstract
This research aims to determine factors that influence farmers' adoption in integrated rice field management in Deli
Serdang North Sumatra Province, Indonesia. The research used survey method with multiple regression analysis.
Factors which were very significant on this study were cosmopolitan and farmer’s presence. Education, self-eficacy and
role of extension agents were significant; while farmer’s motivation and chairman’s role were insignificant factors. The
more cosmopolit, the more rapid the farmers adopted technology in integrated rice field management.
